Tachycardia - [tak-i-kahr-dee-uh]
Originally called “The Bricks”, the band formed in 2005 with other members, but has finally firmed into shape with Hunter, Parker, Donovan, and Miles. After winning the “Shack Idol” talent show at our school, the band starting gaining steam. Practicing feverishly in Hunters garage; they worked on mostly popular cover songs. Soon thereafter, they began playing at parties and functions. They are now focused mainly on original songs, and are playing at local venues such as Dreamworld, The Door, and the Liquid Lounge. With Hunter heading up song-writing, their music is a unique blend of blues, jazz, classic and alternative rock with strong guitar riffs and interesting melodies.  They have their firs self titled EP out, and they are currently working on a full length album.  Their loyal fan base is growing, and the future looks bright.
